BFA Collage

Kathy Clark of Briarwood Folk Art originally created handmade, vintage style holiday paper mache items and sold them at folk art shows. In 2006, Kathy became interested in rug hooking and designed her first pattern, based on Halloween whimsy. This first rug led to developing a full line of holiday theme rug hooking patterns, as well as other non-seasonal designs. Kathy learned the basics of needle felting from Gail Becker and has evolved into making needle felted animals and wet felted items. You can see Kathy's variety of designs at both www.briarwoodfolkart.com and www.briarwoodfolkart.etsy.com. Kathy will be sharing patterns, needle felted and wet felted items and her line of fun rug hooking buttons and aprons with us at camp, as well as whatever else she dreams up before arriving at camp!

Other Hooker Hill activities include a
Rug Show N' Tell, Wool Bingo, and opportunities to win other items.
